Deposit required upon booking (50%). Remainder due on the day by eft, cash or card (2.2% surcharge may apply). Please reference quotation or invoice number.

A call out fee will be charged for travel over 25kms from base. Minimum charge of $140.00 + GST.

Scheduling in a business whose productivity relies upon the weather can be difficult. Inclement weather/staffing shortages may affect scheduling. We try our best to keep scheduling conflicts to a minimum, however, circumstances that are beyond our control may affect your project start and completion dates. You will be notified of any changes.

While we are performing work on your property, the customer is responsible for keeping all children and pets, as well as other individuals away from the work area. Children and pets must be kept off the work surface for at least 24 hours after our work is completed. This is for your safety as well as our own.

Removal and replacement of any items from around the area or areas we will be cleaning is the responsibility of the customer. Should we need to remove any items to clean windows, move any items from; decks, driveways or walkways, we will not be responsible for any damage, breakage or for storage issues. An additional charge may be applied for the time and labor devoted to the removal of these items.

All warranties are limited to those offered by the manufacturers of the products used. Seaview Windows - Window & Exterior Cleaning makes no additional warranties. If you ever have a concern regarding our work, please notify Seaview Windows - Window & Exterior Cleaning immediately.

We reserve the right to use an on-site water supply as needed to complete the project without compensation. If an exterior water supply is required, it will be at an additional charge. It is the customer’s responsibility to make sure the water supply is on and in working order before we arrive. Additional charges will be applied if water is not available.

We reserve the right to use an on-site source of electricity as needed to complete the stated project without compensation. If an exterior source is required it will be at an additional charge.

No responsibility can be taken, under any circumstances for damages due to improperly installed cladding, broken or opened windows, improperly sealed windows and doors, wood rot, defective construction, improperly secured wires, loose or improperly installed gutters, and improper or worn silicone. In every aluminium siding case and in some cases with vinyl siding, the sun and weather will bleach the colour or cause fading. Cleaning, which entails the removal of chalky, gritty, or failing surface materials may cause the faded aspects of the vinyl or aluminium to stand out. We will not be responsible for such conditions. We will not be responsible for loose mortar that may dislodge during the cleaning process. No responsibility can be taken, under any circumstances, for damage to gutters during the cleaning process, where gutters have been found to be rusty or weathered from age. No responsibility can be taken, under any circumstances, and is not liable for leaks and damage or any associated costs resulting from storms, extreme weather, or acts of God. No responsibility can be taken, under any circumstances, due to age and deterioration, any damage to the roof/surface/other fixtures during cleaning.

Some stains cannot be removed. Really old hard water stains, tree sap, artillery fungus, splatters from stains and paints are examples of materials that cannot be removed by conventional means. We make every attempt to point these areas out to the customer when quoting the project, however in some cases hard water stains may not be visible when quoting so in this case we do charge additionally for hard water removal. Sometimes these stains cannot be removed at all.

Windows are divided into four parts: glass, frame, track, and sill. The client understands that the standard window cleaning service is only for the glass; any other service must be agreed upon in advance and described in the quotation. Removal of any building materials (i.e. cement, paint, silicone, adhesive tape, etc.) on the windows is not included in our window cleaning service, except if agreed in advance and described in the quotation. The customer understands that whenever a scraper is being used their are chances of micro-scratches being visible. We do not take any responsibility for scratches due to debris removal.

In most cases, technicians will clean your gutter off the roof, using a harness if necessary and a leaf blower. Sometimes due to a steep roof or difficult access, they will do the cleaning off the ladder. The client understands that any specific cleaning method that differs from the methods mentioned above must be requested in advance. The client also understands that if any other method is requested, an additional charge may apply. The client understands that if a downpipe is blocked, the technician will use a “snake” to clear it or flush it using a garden hose. However, it is important to emphasise that our technicians are not plumbers and in case of a blocked downpipe that cannot be unblocked using the “snake” or garden hose, we will not hold responsibility for it or obligation to solve this type of problem. The technicians do not hose the gutters every time they do the cleaning, only if it is required by the client (additional charges may apply) and/or when they see the need for this.

We perform a quick inspection looking for simple issues on your roof (i.e. broken tiles, defective sealing, etc.). Photos before and after are always taken and sent to you upon request. We will inspect the pointing as well, caps and ridges. Some of these issues can be fixed or addressed by our team with prior arrangements. The client understands that we are not a roofing company and the inspection provided is a courtesy. The client understands that a roofing professional should be contacted if there is any major concern about the inspection. The client also understands that we are not responsible for any issues related to this inspection.

The client understands that Pressure Cleaning is a cleaning service and we cannot hold any responsibility if stains are not removed after the pressure service. However, our technicians will try their best to identify and point out any stain prior to start. The client also understands that we are not responsible for previously existing loose and/or chip tiles and damaged grout, and also for remaining debris after cleaning due to improper drainage.

We reserve the right to charge a 20% late fee if invoices are not paid on completion. The customer agrees to pay any collection cost incurred by Seaview Windows - Window & Exterior Cleaning related to the collection process of outstanding balances. 

If water intrusion occurs, the company will not be held responsible. We make every effort to prevent this but due to unavoidable issues such as bad seals around windows and doors, cracks in concrete foundations, and lack of waterproofing. Notify the company if there are any surfaces on or near the home that cannot have any form of our cleaning solution on them. If we are failed to be notified of this, the company is not responsible for any ill effect on any surfaces.

By accepting the quote, the client agrees to all the terms and conditions in this agreement. You authorise Seaview Windows - Window & Exterior Cleaning to do the work as specified on the quote. You release our company from property damage unless negligence or wilful misconducts cause it. Seaview Windows - Window & Exterior Cleaning is not responsible for scratched glass, frames, tracks, damage to roofs, gutters, pergolas, loose concrete, paving, paint, wood, trim, or windows.
